We collect usage data (such as the features, picks, and projections you view and how you interact with them), device and technical data (such as device type, operating system, app version, browser type, IP address, and identifiers), and approximate location inferred from your IP address.
Information from third parties
If you sign in using a third-party provider such as Google, we receive the basic profile information you authorise, such as your name and email address. If you purchase any paid feature, the relevant app store (the Apple App Store or Google Play) processes your payment and shares limited transaction details with us. We do not receive or store your full payment card information.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To operate and provide the Services, including picks, AI projections, player ratings, and other features.
- To create, secure, and authenticate your account.
- To personalise your experience and remember your preferences.
- To improve the Services and the accuracy of our models and analysis.
- To communicate with you about updates, support requests, and, where permitted, news about features. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We use trusted providers to host and operate the Services, including our authentication and database provider, hosting, and analytics providers. They may process information only on our behalf and under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- App stores. Apple and Google process purchases and may share consumption details for purposes such as processing refunds.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FootballPlus, our users, or others.

4. Google Sign-In and Google API Services
If you sign in with Google, our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use Google sign-in only to authenticate you and to obtain the basic profile information you authorise. We do not use this information for advertising.
5. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and correction. You can access and update your account information from within the app.
- Account and data deletion. You may delete your account and associated personal data at any time from the profile settings in the app, or by contacting us at support@footballplus.app with the subject line “Delete My Account”.
- Marketing. You can opt out of marketing communications using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. We may still send essential messages about your account or the Services.
- Regional rights. Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA and UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA and CPRA), you may have additional rights, including the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing.
